Availability: PEZ is taking orders for them now!

Project Q has finally been released. PEZ Candy Inc. will be releasing a new Limited Edition line of PEZ dispensers. These dispensers will be replicas of some of the most collectible dispensers ever made!

The first dispenser to be released will be the infamous Psychedelic Eye from the late 1960's. It will be available in both the white and black hand colors. Apparently they will be making small variances so that a new dispenser can not be passed off as an old one..

The dispensers will come on a "Limited Edition" blister card and will only be availabe through the mail. PEZ Candy Inc may be sending out the the order forms to previous mail order customers (Bubble Boy)...they'll also be found as package inserts. The price of these collectibles is estimated between $12 and $19. And get this...you'll be able to customize which color variation you want (hand and stem color)! Too cool!

Some of the variances from the original dispenser include...

• ©1967 PEZ on the back of the hand
• The hand will now have the "thumb tab" on the back
• The eye is now one piece, with the iris painted on (often you'll see the original psychedelic eye dispenser missing it's iris..it fell out)
• 4.9 Hungry patent (some of the first prototypes that were made misspelled the word "patent". They left out the middle "t"! I don't know if these will be worth any more someday or not..hard to tell.

Editors Note:
Although I'm certainly not complaining about this new line of dispensers, I think it would have been even cooler if they also came with the "MOD PEZ" and "LUV PEZ" stickers on them. Just to remind us of the era that they came from. Regardless, thanks to PEZ Candy, Inc. for the great item!
